Specialty: Residential Architecture and Green Design
Located in Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island, my focus is on custom residential projects. “Downeaster” roots give me an innate sense of conservation and caring for the resources of the area and of my clientele. All projects are designed to minimize their impact on the land and its resources in terms of both construction and operation, saving money and energy, while creating healthy, comfortable living environments. This is the basis of sustainable design.
Having designed homes on the coast of Maine since 1990, I strive to provide thoughtful, practical, and distinctive design solutions to satisfy the individual needs of each client. In my practice no detail is considered too small for consideration. With today’s digital communications, projects throughout New England can be completed with the same attention to detail as those around the corner.
