October. I can't say I have a favorite holiday, but the light and weather in October is my favorite time of year.

Getting sick from blackfly bites when planting my first garden in Maine

Native or from away?
Away.  But I've been in Maine 39 years.

Ocean or lake?
Any water.

Sugarloaf or Sunday River?
Neither. I don't ski.

George Mitchell or George Bush?
Mitchell, but politically speaking I'd choose one of Maine's great activists like
Bruce Gagnon.

Sail boat or power boat?
Kayak.

Bib or no bib?
Bib.

Moxie?
Ice water.
