In our May profile, “Wood Warriors,” woodworking masters Todd McIntosh and Jon Tuttle of McIntosh & Tuttle Cabinetmakers provided their insights on working together for ten years, having a sense of humor, and the secrets to the perfect kitchen. Tuttle: Summer. Or reading about the Blizzard of ’89 while on the beach in San Diego.
McIntosh: Growing up in Rockland.

Worst Maine memory.
Tuttle: Shoveling snow.
McIntosh: Growing up in Rockland.

Native or from away?
Tuttle: Born away to native parents.
McIntosh: Native.

Ocean or lake?
Tuttle: Ocean. Definitely ocean.
McIntosh: Ocean.

Sugarloaf or Sunday River?
McIntosh: Definitely the Loaf.

George Mitchell or George Bush?
Tuttle: To have a beer with? George Bush.
McIntosh: George Mitchell.

Sail boat or power boat?
Tuttle: Beggars can’t be choosers. Either would be fine.
McIntosh: Sail boat (but I’ve no idea how to sail).

Bib or no bib?
Tuttle: With steak? Of course not.
McIntosh: No bib.

Moxie?
Tuttle: Absolutely, if regular antibiotics aren’t available.
McIntosh: Ah yuh.
