Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to see several amazing plays at the Portland Stage Company. Last year’s brilliant per- formances of “Noises Off” and “Augusta” come to mind immediately—like all good theater, The Stage Company seems to consistently offer plays with a varied range of tone and emotion.
With that said, I am thrilled to announce that Maine HOME+DESIGN is
sponsoring the PSC’s upcoming production of Becky Mode's comedy; “FullyCommitted.” A central part of Maine HOME+DESIGN’s vision has long beento support Maine’s great cultural and arts community—and what betterway to do that than to partner with a great professional theater!
“FullyCommitted” runs from January 22 to February 17 and is being describedas a one-man ‘tour de force.’ Through-
out the play, a single actor,Dustin Tucker, moves seamlessly between more than 30 characters engagedin the ups and downs of the restaurant business. Tucker plays everyonefrom Sam (a twenty-
something, out-of-work actor who is the reservations clerk),to Mrs. Buxbaum, to the restaurant’s chef, to his own father, to Bryce(Naomi Campbell’s personal assistant)!
The whole Maine HOME+DESIGN teamwill be there on opening night, January 25 at 7:30pm, and we hope youwill join us. I am certain our sides will be aching from laughter!
